What's going On?

I'm really sick of hearing people talk about the candidates', not their stance on the issues. There are a lot of completely false, and downright insane comments on this page. People forget what weight this office holds, and how serious presidential elections should be.

On Taxes:
Obama's plan will CUT ---did you read that?--  I said CUT taxes for 95% of all Americans. He wants to cut taxes for anyone making under $200,000.00. I hope you all understand that.
McCain wants to make the Bush Tax cuts PERMANENT, which means that the top 1% would continue to see outrageous $700,000.00 tax breaks! Now that's out of control spending that the country cannot sustain. He also wants to give Big Oil 4 billion dollars in additional tax breaks.

On the War in Iraq:
Obama wants to phase our troops out of Iraq and focus our troops in Afghanistan.
McCain want to stay in Iraq "for 100 years if need be.

On HealthCare:
Obama wants to make healthcare plans accesible to everyone, and make it affordable by taking on insurance companies, and covering everyone, regardless of pre-existing conditons using a system similar to Federal Employees.
McCain wants to tax individual employer health plans, to provide a $5000 tax credit (which by the way, not everyone would even qualify for). This has never been done, and for someone who claims to be the steady hand at the helm, this is radical change to the U.S.'s healthcare, and an MPR analyst calculated that McCain's plan could actually end up costing 1.3- 2 TRILLION dollars!

On the Environment:
Obama want to invest 30-50 billion a year(150 billion dollars over 10 years) on renewable energy which would create green jobs, and start to solve our energy crisis. He wants to work to getting all cars at 40 MPG by 2030. He wants the oil companies to use the land they have available to drill on. They still have 65 million acres to drill, but have "picked all the low hanging fruit" and want to get at oil that's not so costly to get at. Obama's stance is "use it, or lose it".
Obama wants to allow some off shore drilling, but what both of the candidates have not touched on, is that it would take at least 10 years to actually see any benefit of new drilling projects. 10 Years!
McCain's stance--Drill BABY DRILL.... Like I just said, we WILL NOT SEE ANY BENEFIT OF NEW DRILLING FOR AT LEAST 10 YEARS.

Besides being completely out of touch with average Americans, McCain would be the most divisive president we've ever had. Sarah Palin would only pour and rub salt in the wounds of so many Americans. Palin is against woman's rights. She wants to take away the woman's right to choose her own reproductive rights. Just because she's a religious fanatic doesn't mean she can force her ideas on us all. She is against abortion, EVEN IN THE CASE OF RAPE OR INCEST!!! That is absolutely disgusting. She's even against abortion if the mother's life is in danger. I want a presidential cabinet that keeps religious beliefs at home. Besides being borderline fascist, little bush, excuse me...
Sarah Palin is vastly under qualified for the task at hand. It's absolute non-sense that McCain dares to charge Obama that he is not experienced, Sarah Palin could very well become president of the United States of America if something happens to that fossil. You'd think that would be enough to scare republicans into voting democrat. John McCain and Sarah Plain will run this country into the ground, and if you don't realize this, you are either incredibly stupid, or if you willingly support him knowing how his policies will affect Americans, I guess you're just down-right evil.
